Hello internet, moment's are cherised so..let's continue this blog series together, and enjoy it the best we can, because this is the last of the Noh mask blog series that i'll write, so for the last time thank you so much for whoever reading this, and thoughts, that will be always be appreciated it. so.. without further ado..let's get into it. So the last entry of the Noh mask type is the Yurei type which carries the character of Ghost and Spirit within the play, which something i always anticipating to write about, among the type of mask. Mainly because it's has an interesting origin and traits that i kinda like a little more than to the mask that i have blabber about on this blog. Noh mask : Onna mask and some of it's type

Hey and welcome back again internet's, thank you for coming here Today we gonna talk about some of them ladies on the Noh world's and their meaning behind their expression, which probably the most terrifying piece i'm gonna wrote, Shikami ain't got nothing on those deadpan eyes. don't mess with the ladies guys, respect women. Onna mask is a mask that play all different kind of females characters, the name Onna itselfs means woman. Onna mask is regarded as the most popular type amongst Noh mask, and like any other Noh mask out there if they ever be called a Noh mask, has a variety of mask with each has it's own role on the play, Those type are Waka-onna, Shakumi, Uba and Rojo. which of course we gonna cover today, and of course only some of them which i found the most interesting or attracted to, no offense, ladies of the mask.  The first lady of the blog is.. Noh mask : Jō and some of it's type

Hey guys, good to be back with you all, thank you again for reading this series of blog of Noh and it's mask of mine and today we gonna continue this blog on a fresh new topic called Jo, which translated as elders, so let's get right into it.. As a noh mask, Jo type of mask usually potrayed as an incarnate spirits and like every other Noh mask type out there, Jo mask too have a great variety of types which can be distinguishable by the elderly features on the mask such as their hair and that's it. The types are Ko-jō , Asakura-jō , Sanko-jō and Warai-jō . they are often worn by the leading actors in Part One in waki-nō (god plays) or shura-nō (warrior plays), in which they play incarnate spirits. W hich i'll be covering some of them. Noh mask: Kishin and some of it's type

Welcome to the blog and welcome back for those who have been following this, thanks for the time, really. As promised let's continue from the last post, i'll be covering four type of noh mask, that kinda caught me intrigue, when the first time i saw them and one of them is the Kishin type, which will be the main topic on today's blog. So..the question of the century is, what is Kishin actually? Kishin means demon, kinda obvious really, if you see the most of these mask type feature, long teeth, evil eye, and of course angry eyes, that’s what demon mask looks like if they ever be called a demon mask. Hey, nice to meet you, internet. So today I decided to write some blog about Japanese famous Noh theatre and the type of mask they use for the play, and of course the meaning behind it, so without further ado..let’s get right into it. For some of you who don’t know, Noh is a classical Japanese musical drama that based on tales from traditional literature since 14 th century, Noh is a drama play that focused on the characters that centered around the props, costumes and of course the mask. Each mask have a meaning behind it, and the actor tell the story following the characters which the mask represent, they show it with a gesture and dance performance through out the play. On this blog I’m gonna talk about mainly on the types of mask, rather than the theatre itselfs. The meaning behind the mask and how they are potray in the theatre.
