Noh mask : Onna mask and some of it's type

Hey and welcome back again internet's, thank you for coming here

Today we gonna talk about some of them ladies on the Noh world's and their meaning behind their expression, which probably the most terrifying piece i'm gonna wrote, Shikami ain't got nothing on those deadpan eyes. don't mess with the ladies guys, respect women.

Onna mask is a mask that play all different kind of females characters, the name Onna itselfs means woman. Onna mask is regarded as the most popular type amongst Noh mask, and like any other Noh mask out there if they ever be called a Noh mask, has a variety of mask with each has it's own role on the play, Those type are Waka-onna, Shakumi, Uba and Rojo. which of course we gonna cover today, and of course only some of them which i found the most interesting or attracted to, no offense, ladies of the mask.

The first lady of the blog is..

Shiro-Shakumi

A woman that has come and down in her life, experience joy and tears, have taste the bitter and sweet part of the dessert called life, a prime age are passing through it's wrinkle eyes and downright hollowed eyes, and potrayed as an experience woman, those experience inciuding encounters with men, love, marriage and the like, and children, having shared memories with them, sad and delightful and of course divorce. Are the experience which this mask expression represented for in her forties. Shiro-shakumi come from the name Shiro which means white and it's called Shakumi because it's concaved face.

 Waka-Onna

Like every anime girl out there, this young looking odd women mask once comes from a school too, which kinda alot, such school as such as Ko-omote in the Komparu school, Magojirō in the Kongoh school, and Fushiki-zō in the Hosho school. these mask is worn at third-group plays (sanbanme-mono or kazura-mono). This mask has alot representative position on the female league that use by the Kanze school. It is used in third-group plays such as "Nonomiya" and "Izutsu", as well as those featuring young women, such as "Tamakazura".

I think this is it for me guys, sorry for the lack of content, compare to the usual, i have a bit of a headache today, which it's kinda make writing this blog some sort of a torture. But it's always been a pleasure to sharing something that i liked which kinda make it's worth it.

Thank you again for reading this and the time.

Until then, have a nice day.
